Holding Strong

Elle has only 7 days left until she turn the big 4.

Only 7 more days to take advantage of the expected tantrum throwing behavior of a 3 year old.

She has decided to make the most of it.

Today was a doozy! Tantrum after tantrum after tantrum.

Our final conversation of the night went like this...

Mom: Elle, you have to eat your dinner or you will go to bed right now.

Elle: I'm not eating. I hate everything here.

Mom: Go to bed.

Elle: (stomping and yelling) Mom, you are the meanest mom in the world. I don't know why you hate me so much. I am not going to look at you anymore. Don't look at me. (slams the door)

10 minutes later I found her like this. Guess she meant it.

Ahhh...3 year olds.

I always thought 3's were way worse than the terrible 2's! Thank goodness she's adorable:)

Ok I know you were probably so mad at her during this tantrum, but she looks too cute pouting under her pillow like that!

They definately have their moments don't they? Atleast you can find some humor in it and take a picture. I usually just cry!

I must admit 3 is my favorite age. However Cannon's tantrums never end that easy. He usually lays on the ground, body halfway in his room, half in the hall, continuing to yell at me. I guess I need to be more specific. Like go to your bed! Anyways, Elle is a doll. Thanks so much for the awsome basket! (However my butt is not thanking you for all those yummy snacks!)
